B – New Gallery selection

The ‘B – New Gallery Selection’ is a project for young Belgian promotional galleries (younger than 6 year old). The jury guarantees a strong choice. It chooses a limited number of galleries, which will be allocated a stand in a special section at ‘The border’. As before, the National Lottery is sponsoring part of the stand fee for these promotional galleries.

Winners announced!

The jury, composed of Flor Bex (honorary director of the Museum for Contemporary Art, in Antwerp), Francis Feidler (manager of IKOB) and Sara Alonso Gómez (curator and art historian, Fundacion Ludwig de Cuba), was able to select seven young galleries, each of which has been given a stand in The border, during Lineart 2011. With this initiative, The border 2011 motivates these seven young Belgian promotional galleries with a sponsored selection.
